Our Mission
The World's First Minimally Manipulated MUSE Cell Product
Dux Bio is the first company in the world to offer a minimally manipulated Multilineage-differentiating Stress-Enduring (MUSE) cell product derived from umbilical cord tissue. MUSE cells are a naturally occurring, stress-tolerant subpopulation of stem cells first identified within mesenchymal stem cell populations, recognized for their ability to home to damaged tissue and their broad differentiation potential across all three germ layers.
Our isolation process avoids cell sorting, genetic modification, and extended culture expansion, keeping the product within the minimal manipulation framework that defines Section 361 HCT/Ps. This distinction gives our licensed provider and researcher partners access to a unique, naturally occurring cell population that is not available anywhere else in a minimally manipulated form.

Every donation begins with a thorough donor eligibility determination, including medical and social history review and infectious disease testing consistent with FDA requirements for human cells, tissues, and cellular and tissue-based products (HCT/Ps). Full traceability is maintained from donor screening through processing and final distribution, supporting both safety and accountability at every step.
Dux Bio's umbilical cord tissue products are intended for homologous use, meaning they are designed to perform the same basic function in the recipient as the tissue performed in the donor.
